       Bird watchers will be excited to see ivory gulls, arctic terns, long-tailed ducks, skuas and kittiwakes
       If the conditions allow, you will be able to sail within 10 degrees of the North Pole

       Today, while sailing south through the famous Greenland Sea, you will learn about the history and wildlife of Greenland.
       Visit the deck where you will be able to learn to identify seabirds on the wing through a lecture Alternatively, you can enjoy an cocktail in the bar or watch movie to spend your time at sea
       Overnights on the ship

    • Eastern Greenland

       While you are touring Greenland’s remote eastern coast, you will be taken on ZodiacCruises and shore visits to many locations
       You will visit the ruins of the ancient Thule Settlements and spot grazing muskoxen
       Finally, your ship will sail through the picturesque Scoresbysund, also called the birthplace of many icebergs and famous as the most stunning fjord system worldwide

       Today, you will cross the Denmark Strait, the oceanic pathway towards Iceland

Adventure Options
Booking an optional Adventure Option on your Sea Spirit expedition is a great way to enhance your Polar experience. These options are all subject to availability and fill up quickly, so be sure to book yours early.

Taken in small groups of 10-16 people, sea-kayaking adventures are only done during calm weather conditions. We recommend you have some prior sea-kayaking experience, including the capability to do a wet exit. Special headgear, gloves and socks are highly recommended for our sea-kayakers.
